Dirty Geometry
A poem about politics and perspective
Every belief on a linear spectrum: left-wing, right-wing, fence-sitters in the middle. A prescribed framework— the image we were told to see. But the scale is a circle, a three-dimensional form expanding in every direction. Principles aren’t binary; they move and grow and accumulate context, but we’ve fallen for the myth of polarization. I think the reason we’re divided is because we were told to pick our place on an imaginary line.
